Summary:
A Gyratory Testing Machine was used to compare two AC hot mixes with small amounts of powdered and reclaimed
rubber to control AC mix without rubber.  The mixes were tested for their resistance to densification under traffic and
then shear properties.  The rubber treated mixes were consistently found to show greater resistance to densification and
improved dynamic recovery then the untreated mix.  The rubber additive also tends to desensitize the mix with regard
to flushing and bleeding.
