Summary:
Prior and current investigation into various areas relating to the structural performance of flexible pavements have led to
the development of a micro computerized mechanistic analysis and design system using nondestructive testing
techniques.  This computer program, Rehabilitation, Design of Asphalt Pavement Systems (REDAPS Version 2), utilizes a
multilayered linear elastic pavement model and integrates material properties, distress criteria, combined effects of
temperature, asphalt binder age hardening and vehicular loads into a system that should minimize the effort required in
routine pavement evaluation and rehabilitation design.
