The section is an overlay over a flexible pavement and includes a control section using conventional HMA. Conclusions are that asphalt-rubber blending is completed. Mix designs are included. Cost increases of 50 – 60% over conventional HMA are expected and tire disposal costs were calculated to be $31.67 per tire. Performance evaluations are planned.
