Summary:
In April 1968, U.S. Rubber Reclaiming Company contacted the Mississippi State Highway Dept in the interest of
experimenting with the use of a rubber additive, known as Ramflex.  Ramflex is a powered reclaimator produced rubber
specially devulcanized in less than five minutes to be used in combination with asphalt and aggregate for asphaltic type
pavements.  The material was applied to the test section on Monticello Street I Lincoln County during a period between
the 23rd of July and Aug. 1st, 1968.
